Black Corner Guards

Posted by Mark Stenson on

When selecting a corner guard for your building, a practical and economical option is to utilize a black corner guard. One of the main purposes of a corner guard is to hide damage, and no other color hides scuffs and scrapes quite as well as black. While it may not be your first choice for matching a wall color, black corner guards can be a great option for darker areas as well as ‘back of house’ applications where design is not the primary consideration. Another reason to consider black corner guards is the fact that they often contain the highest amount of recycled material when compared to other colors.

Hi Kathy,
Our product is very durable and is intended to protect the corner from damage, but will not necessarily protect your car door from scratches. In order to best protect your car door, we would recommend doing a search for “foam corner guards” as this type of material is softer and will do a better job of protecting your car from scratches.

I am looking for a material to protect my garage door frame and my car from damaging each other. I have a relatively small space for my car and have hit the door frame several times, resulting in scratches on the car.

Can your product cause scratches on the car if is is hit? Can it survive a few hits?
