The aluminum retainer corner guard (also called a surface mount corner guard) is designed for high impact walls and corners. This corner guard has two layers of protection: an aluminum retainer and a vinyl cover. Caps on the top and and bottom finish this corner guard and gives it a polished look. The aluminum retainer is attached to the wall with screws and the cover is snapped over the retainer. This heavy duty corner guard is intended for higher traffic and thus higher damage corners and walls. These come in 4 ft (actual 48") tall kits and include everything needed for a standard installation.
